The passenger's baggage allowed by the carrier to be transported in the cabin of the aircraft belongs to hand luggage and must be marked with the tag "Hand luggage/Cabin"(exceptions in the section Personal things), issued by the carrier, and transported free of charge, if:

Hand luggage is not provided for children under 2 years old who are traveling without a seat.

Hand luggage during its transportation must be placed under the passenger seat. Above the passenger seat in the lockable luggage compartment, you can place small light items and the passenger's outerwear.

Things that do not contain substances and objects prohibited for carriage in the cabin of the aircraft, the weight and dimensions of which are set by the Airline and allow them to be safely placed in the cabin of the aircraft, are accepted as hand luggage. Hand luggage is carried in the cabin of the aircraft within the limits of the norm established by the Airline at no additional cost. Responsibility for the safety of hand luggage is assigned to the passenger.

Hand luggage and items carried as hand luggage in excess of the established norm and having size restrictions must be freely placed in the calibrator.

Hand luggage, within the limits of the norm established by the Airline, if it is not possible to place it in the cabin of the aircraft in order to comply with safety requirements, can be transported in the baggage and cargo compartment with registration as checked baggage without charging an additional fee.

All baggage carried in the baggage-cargo compartment must be inspected by the Aviation security service (transport security unit) for the absence of prohibited items and substances in it.

The passenger is obliged to take care of the safety of hand luggage carried in the cabin of the aircraft. In case of a break in the performance of the flight specified in the transportation document, the passenger is obliged to take with him the hand luggage and personal belongings placed there when disembarking from the aircraft.

With the consent of the Carrier, it is allowed to transport things and objects in the passenger cabin of the aircraft that require special precautions when handling them: film and photographic equipment, television and radio equipment, electronic devices, musical instruments, glass, porcelain, ceramics, human organs and tissues, blood and its components, samples of human biological materials intended for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes, including for hemotransfusion or transplantation (biological materials).

The size, weight and number of hand luggage and personal items can be additionally checked by the Airline's employees upon arrival of the flight at the destination airport.

Currently, there are restrictions on the transportation of liquids, gels and aerosols in hand luggage at the airports between which Armenian Airlines LLC operates flights. This restriction applies to: water, beverages, creams, perfumes, the contents of cans, deodorants, toothpastes, any other similar substances. Passengers are allowed to bring the above substances on board the aircraft, but only on condition that they are packed in containers with a capacity of no more than 100 ml and packed in a securely sealed transparent plastic bag with a volume of no more than 1 liter. A passenger can take only one such package with him.

During boarding, the passenger's hand luggage, as well as items carried as hand luggage that are questionable by their dimensions, can be additionally checked using a hand luggage meter. In case of detection of excess of the carry-on baggage allowance, the passenger may be refused transportation:

• hand luggage exceeding the established free hand baggage allowance in weight and/or dimensions is checked in by the passenger during check-in;
• the airline may unilaterally terminate the passenger's air carriage agreement if the passenger refuses to pay for the carriage of their baggage in the amount and on the terms provided for by the passenger's air carriage agreement.

The size, weight and number of hand luggage and personal items can be additionally checked by airline employees upon arrival of the flight at the destination airport.

Information about the transportation of animals in the cabin of the aircraft can be found in the section transportation of animals

The weight and dimensions in the sum of three dimensions, and each dimension in particular, should not exceed the free hand luggage allowance established by the tariff:

• number of pieces – 1 PC;
• weight does not exceed 7 kg for all classes of service;
• dimensions do not exceed 55x40x20 cm for the brand Economy – Basic, Standard, Flexible, as well as for tickets purchased as part of a tour package.

If the hand luggage exceeds the free baggage allowance established by the Airline, then the carriage of such a hand luggage is allowed if the following conditions are met:

• for Economy brands – Basic, Standard, Flexible, as well as for tickets purchased as part of travel package, exceeding the weight of one seat up to 10 kg is allowed, subject to payment of transportation according to the Airline's tariffs for excess hand luggage;
• when exceeding the dimensions of 55x40x20 for the brand Economy – Basic, Standard, Flexible and class business class services (if business class is provided), hand luggage can be accepted for carriage only in the baggage and cargo compartments of the aircraft as checked baggage in accordance with the conditions of the tariff application.

Excess hand luggage is marked with the tag "Hand luggage /Cabin" or a tag without the specified inscription, but with the airline's logo. A hand luggage tag may not be provided at the discretion of the Airline.

On some flights, in order to ensure flight safety, this service may not be provided by the Airline.

During the boarding of the flight, the passenger's hand luggage, as well as things carried as hand luggage that are questionable by their dimensions, can be additionally checked using a calibrator. In case of detection of excess of the hand luggage allowance, the passenger is not allowed to be transported.

Baggage requiring special conditions of transportation (for example, valuable, brittle, fragile, breakable items) may be accepted for carriage in a passenger seat in the cabin of an aircraft if:

• the passenger agreed this service in advance with Armenian Airlines LLC;
• the luggage passed a special inspection for aviation security.

The passenger is obliged to pay for an additional passenger seat (CBBG) at the full passenger fare (there is no charge for transportation of excess baggage in this case). A separate ticket is issued on CBBG.

The weight of the luggage must not exceed the average passenger weight (80 kg), and the dimensions of the luggage allow its placement in a separate passenger seat.

The luggage must be placed in the window seat and secured with a seat belt. Luggage placement it is made in such a way that it does not block access to emergency and normal exits from the aircraft, does not close other passengers had light displays ("smoking is prohibited", "fasten your seat belts", "exit") and did not interfere with flight attendants perform their official duties.

Booking an additional passenger seat (CBBG) in separate bookings (different) is not allowed.

Baggage carried in the passenger seat is checked in by the passenger at the check-in desk, a separate boarding pass is issued to the CBBG indicating the seat number. The passenger is responsible for its integrity and safety of CBBG.

The luggage must be properly packed in order to prevent damage to the aircraft cabin equipment during its transportation. A device for attaching it to the passenger seat must be provided on the luggage packaging.

Baggage delivery to the aircraft, its lifting, placement in the cabin of the aircraft, removal from the aircraft, and delivery from the aircraft is carried out by the passenger carrying this baggage.

As hand luggage, in excess of the established norm and without charging an additional fee, the passenger has the right to carry the following things:

• A backpack whose weight should not exceed 5 kg and dimensions should not exceed 40x30x20 cm, or a handbag, or a briefcase with things enclosed in a backpack, or a bag, or a briefcase;
• bouquet of flowers;
• outerwear;
• baby meals for a child during the flight;
• suit in a holdall;
• A device for carrying a child (a baby cradle, holding systems (devices) for children under two years old, a baby stroller and other devices), the dimensions of which are established by the rules of the Airline, and allow them to be freely placed in the cabin of the aircraft on a shelf above the passenger seat, or under the seat in front of the passenger seat; as a holding device and if there is a separate paid place for a child, a certified passenger seat can be installed on the passenger seat for use in the air transport a portable child safety seat equipped with seat belts;
• Medications, special dietary needs in the amount necessary for the duration of the flight;
• Crutches, canes, walkers, rollators, a folding wheelchair used by the passenger and having dimensions that allow them to be safely placed in the cabin of the aircraft on a shelf above the passenger seat or under the seat in front of the passenger seat;
• Goods purchased in duty-free shops at the airport, packed in a sealed (sealed) plastic bag, the weight and dimensions of which allow them to be safely placed in the cabin of the aircraft and do not exceed the norm: weight up to 3 kg; dimensions no more than 40x30x20 cm.

The passenger must hand over the folding wheelchair to the luggage. To travel on board the aircraft, such passengers are provided with an on-board wheelchair for temporary use. The maximum passenger weight is 250 kg, the width between the armrests is 34 cm.

A baby carriage, including a "cane", is transported in the luggage compartment of an air of the vessel as checked baggage in excess of the established norm. The passenger can use the wheelchair before boarding the aircraft. The stroller is necessarily transferred for loading into the luggage compartment directly before boarding the aircraft.

Passengers can pay for hand luggage in excess of the norm in advance on the Airline's website or at the airport at the check-in desk. The cost at the airport will be higher.

Passengers are advised to keep a receipt for payment of excess hand luggage until the end of the flight along the entire route. Exceeding the carry-on baggage allowance for infants under 2 years is not provided.

The service and tariffs are applied in case of exceeding the weight of the free baggage allowance allowed for carriage up to 10kg 55x40x20cm.
