Provision of services and information

Armenian Airlines LLC (including through a service organization) provides passengers with services related to the implementation and provision of air transportation at airports and other check-in points, points of sale of transportation, on board the aircraft . The services of the carrier or service organization are provided free of charge or on a reimbursable basis.

Armenian Airlines LLC or a service organization at the airport provides the following services without additional charge:

  • passenger check-in and baggage handling for transportation;
  • delivery of passengers to the aircraft parking place and organization of their boarding in the aircraft;
  • baggage delivery to the aircraft parking place, loading, placement and securing of baggage on board the aircraft;
  • ensuring the exit of passengers from the aircraft, the delivery of passengers to the terminal building;
  • unloading of baggage from the aircraft, transportation and delivery of baggage to passengers;
  • provision of mother and child rooms to a passenger with a child under the age of seven (if such a service can be provided by a service organization at a certain airport);
  • two phone calls or two e-mail messages while waiting for the departure of the flight for more than 2 hours;
  • provision of soft drinks while waiting for the departure of the flight for more than 2 hours;
  • providing hot meals while waiting for the departure of the flight for more than 4 hours and then every 6 hours – during the day and every 8 hours – at night;
  • accommodation in a hotel while waiting for a flight departure for more than 8 hours – during the day and more than 6 hours – at night;
  • delivery by transport from the airport to the hotel and back in cases where the hotel is provided without additional charge;
  • organization of luggage storage. delivery of passengers from the airport to the hotel and back in cases where the hotel is provided free of charge.

Note. For the purposes of this paragraph, the waiting time for the departure of the flight begins with the departure time of the flight indicated in the ticket.


Armenian Airlines LLC or a service organization provides the following information at the airport about:

  • departure and arrival time (departure and arrival) of aircraft performing transportation according to the schedule (flight plan);
  • the place and time of the beginning and end of the check-in of passengers and baggage on the flight specified in the transportation document;
  • the number of the boarding gate and the time of the beginning and end of boarding passengers in an aircraft carrying out transportation according to the schedule (flight plan);
  • delayed aircraft carrying out transportation according to the schedule (flight plan) and the reasons for their delays;
  • the method of travel to the nearest settlement, between airport terminals, between airports;
  • rules and procedure for pre-flight and post-flight inspections of passengers and baggage;
  • general rules for the fulfillment by passengers of requirements related to border, customs, sanitary-quarantine, veterinary, quarantine phytosanitary types of control provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia;
  • rules for the carriage of dangerous goods in the baggage and hand luggage of passengers and the responsibility of passengers for non-compliance with these rules;
  • the location of the mother and child's rooms.

Provision to third parties or organizations of information about the issued transportation documents in the name of a particular passenger, about the fact of check-in at the departure airport, about the departure or arrival of a passenger is carried out only on the basis of written requests from government agencies or enterprises, institutions and organizations, as well as citizens, if these requests are recognized as justified and legitimate.
